Does anyone know the name of the piece you put on the projevtor reel so that it can take either Super 8 or 8mm. There seems to be a pieace missing and the reels don't stay on.
Thanks,
Cody

Regular 8 reels have a smaller centre hole, like common tape reel. Super 8 reel have the large centre hole and they came usualy with an adapter piece Super8 to Regular8, kind of reduction tube. You need it to fix Super8 reels to Regular8 projectors or double format projectors. If you don?t find any when buying second hand empty reels, you can make it by yourself, looking for a plastic or metal tube, cut it that it fits exactly into the hole of a S8 reel an make another cut to accept the driving plate of the regular8 drive.
